Karl Thomas (March 17, 1871- July 18, 1900) was an American sailor serving in the United States Navy during the Boxer Rebellion who received the Medal of Honor for bravery.

Thomas was born March 17, 1871 in Germany, and after entering the navy he was sent as an Coxswain to China to fight in the Boxer Rebellion.[1]
He died July 18, 1900 and is buried in San Francisco National Cemetery San Francisco, California. His grave can be found in section, NA-369.[2]
